About Me
Dr. Caitlin McCurley is a board-certified physical therapist and is certified in LSVT BIG rehab. She received her master’s degree in motor behavior at LSU and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from USC. While at LSU she was responsible for research in the biomechanics laboratory and acquired a broad range of knowledge in the physics of human movement as well as neurological and psychological aspects of motor control. Once introduced to the world of pelvic health, she started to draw parallels between her exercise hobbies and their effects on pelvic health, and shew is excited to help patients use different modes of exercise to improve their neurological conditions and pelvic floor health.
Caitlin swam competitively from kindergarten through college. In her time in Baton Rouge she discovered a love of rock climbing and was fascinated by the connections with her love for exercise science and the mechanical functions of the body. She is now an avid backpacker and rock climber and she enjoys Muay Thai kickboxing.
