About Me
Dr. Emily Reul, PT, DPT is a board-certified physical therapist and the founder of Wings Physiotherapy, a pelvic floor physical therapy clinic serving Rancho Cucamonga, Apple Valley, and the surrounding Inland Empire. She specializes in pelvic health physical therapy, helping patients find answers and effective treatment for conditions such as pelvic pain, urinary and bowel dysfunction, pregnancy-related issues, and postpartum recovery.
Dr. Reul earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of West Georgia and her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Nova Southeastern University in Tampa, Florida. She has experience working in multiple physical therapy settings before opening Wings Physiotherapy to focus on providing specialized pelvic floor care.
She has completed extensive postgraduate training through the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy and remains actively involved in advancing the profession. Dr. Reul is an active member of the California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) and currently serves on the CPTA Payment Policy Committee. She also participates in the APTA House of Delegates, contributing to national discussions about the future of physical therapy practice and patient access to care. Her previous leadership roles include involvement with the Inland Counties District of CPTA and the Academy of Pelvic Health. In addition, she contributes educational content to My Pelvic Floor Muscles (MyPFM), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving pelvic health awareness and access to care.
Dr. Reul’s passion for physical therapy began through sports. She played competitive volleyball starting at age 11 and continued through college, experiencing several injuries that required physical therapy. These experiences sparked her interest in rehabilitation and ultimately led her to pursue a career helping others recover and stay active.
Her dedication to pelvic health is also personal. As a child, she experienced pelvic floor dysfunction including nocturnal enuresis, urinary frequency, and constipation. Despite numerous treatments, she was often told the condition would simply improve with time. These experiences shaped her commitment to helping patients find answers and effective treatment options that may not always be addressed within the traditional medical system.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Reul enjoys long-distance running, going to Disneyland, and spending time with her nieces and her energetic beagle, Tod.
